As we look towards the final quarter of 2022, it is a time to reflect on all that we have achieved. Whilst we have faced numerous challenges such as supply chain issues and rising fuel and energy costs, we have weathered the storms and seen positive growth as a business.
As well as an increase in projects from existing customers, new customer wins have also been a key part of our recent growth.
One new customer we have supported is in the building sector. Their aim was to become more competitive. Our tooling means that they can make parts faster and reduce costs by using thinner material. Through the tweaking of the design we have given them a stronger product too.
One particular project where we are supplying two new customers is for the P13A Nissan Juke. Working with a tier one and tier two supplier to Nissan, we have won our first orders. We have also quoted on PZ1D for new customers too.
There have also been a couple of firsts for us…
In aerospace we received our very first order from a new prime aerospace manufacturer.
We won our first, largest non-automotive order, which is set to be delivered in March 2023.
And August was not so quiet with a new automotive tier 1 customer giving us their tools for refurb during their summer shutdown.
With a growing customer and project list we look to our experienced team to enable us to deliver. Investing in their skills and capability is really important to us. In Q4 we will be running a number of training sessions including Crane and Forklift Truck driving refreshers, Power Press and also In-comm (focused on upskilling within engineering) will be doing on site training throughout September and October.
Increasing energy costs are just around the corner, if we want to maintain our growth and competitiveness, we need to keep looking for new solutions.
We won’t stand still, we will continue to explore new opportunities that will hopefully become the solutions to the new challenges that we face, keeping us competitive and efficient for the benefit of our customers.
