About

Cube Precision Engineering was founded in 2009 by Phil Bannister and Neil Clifton. Phil, an apprentice trained engineer and Neil an engineering graduate with a sales background, both passionate about investing in British engineering, embarked on their journey together with their first contract to machine 25 engine protection parts for the rail industry.

The rest as they say is history…..

A business built upon capacity, confidence and capability, Cube Precision Engineering is based in the West Midlands and supplies product to the Automotive, Aerospace/Defence and Commercial sectors. With a strong ethos of supporting both the local area and the UK as a whole, Cube uses local suppliers and staff to service the world’s leading engineering companies. 71% of all purchases made by the business are from within 40 miles of the West Midlands factory, their staff are recruited within 15 miles and the products they make are used worldwide.

‘You may not have heard of us but you will most certainly have seen the products that we have helped to manufacture…..’

Neil Clifton, Managing Director

Winning Young Business of the Year, at the Express and Star Business Awards in May 2013 was recognition from peers that Cube is at the forefront of press tool manufacture and sub contract machining within the UK manufacturing sector.

Through significant investment in the staff and the manufacturing plant Cube Precision Engineering has grown into a business with 40 employees and continues to grow from strength to strength.
